Detroit Lions Release Two Players, Suspend Two More For Gambling

Looks like the 2023-2024 NFL season is already off to a rough start for our Detroit Lions. After a gambling investigation, wide receiver Quintez Cephus and safety CJ Moore have been released from the team after being suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL gambling policy and betting on NFL games.

Two more receivers, former First Round Pick Jameson Williams and Stanley Berryhill are each suspended for six games each as they also took part in mobile betting on their phones, just not on NFL games. Washington Commanders defensive end Shaka Toney has also been suspended indefinitely as a result of the investigation.
