Ordering takeout just got a lot easier thanks to Alexa+ rolling out a new feature that lets you chat your way through food orders like you’re talking to a server. Instead of tapping through apps, you can ask for the cuisine or restaurant you’re looking for, tweak your order on the fly, add items mid-thought, and even get suggestions as your cart comes together. By linking Grubhub or Uber Eats, it can pull up past favorites or help you build something new, all while showing your total before checkout and tracking delivery after. It’s currently launching on Echo Show 8 devices and up, and it’s already making the idea of resisting takeout feel significantly harder.
