Outside of reality TV, Brooks Nader has exactly one acting role to her credit: a brief appearance in the 2018 action film "Backtrace" playing "Orderly Lisa." Her acting resume is about to get a big upgrade, however. It was announced yesterday that Nader has joined the series regular cast of Fox‘s "Baywatch" sequel series. According to the synopsis, Nader will play Selene, the sharp-tongued Captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards. While excellent at her job, she and Baywatch Captain Hobie Buchannon have a very different approach to saving lives that is a constant source of friction. Never on good terms, their relationship only goes downhill after Hobie brings his daughter, Charlie, onto his team and it becomes clear that their rivalry goes much deeper than lifeguarding. Production on the series is slated to star this spring, with a premiere later this year.
