Winona Ryder is joining “Wednesday” season three on Netflix in a secret guest star role, reuniting with director Tim Burton and her “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” co-star Jenna Ortega. Burton praised her casting in a statement, saying, “I am so happy that Winona has joined us, she fits right into this world,” adding, “she’s a dear friend. I always feel lucky to work with her.” Showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar called Ryder the “GOAT” among Outcasts and celebrated her legendary partnership with Burton, saying it "defined some of cinema’s most unforgettable characters." A release date for season three of “Wednesday” has not been confirmed at this time.
