Full House’s’ Dave Coulier Reveals Stage Three Cancer Diagnosis

Dave Coulier has revealed that he’s been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He was diagnosed last month after he had an upper respiratory infection that led to major swelling in his lymph nodes. “I went from, I got a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming,” he admits. “This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.” Doctors at first told him the cancer was “very aggressive” but thankfully his bone marrow test was negative, which he says brought the chances of curable from “low to 90% range.”

Coulier started chemo two weeks after getting diagnosed and has already shaved his head as a “preemptive strike.” He’s now finished the first of six chemo treatments and he says he’s taking it day by day. “I have my good days. I have my bad days,” he says. “Some days are nauseous and dizzy, and then there's other days where the steroids kick in, and I feel like I have a ton of energy," he says.
