We told you it would be announced last night during "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," and here it is: John Krasinski was stunned when he learned he’d been named "People’s" 2024 Sexiest Man Alive, reacting with what he described as a “blackout” moment. “Just immediate blackout, actually. Zero thoughts,” Krasinski joked, adding, “That’s not how I wake up, thinking, ‘Is this the day that I'll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?’” His wife, actress Emily Blunt, was thrilled by the news, with Krasinski sharing that she even teased about wallpapering their home with his magazine cover. “My children will love that; it won’t be weird at all,” he quipped.
Though fans recognize him from "The Office" and his roles as a CIA agent in "Jack Ryan" and as director and star of "A Quiet Place" and this year's film "IF," Krasinski says he’s happiest as a husband and father, enjoying quiet family life in Brooklyn with Blunt and their daughters. Reflecting on their partnership, he said, “It’s that beautiful thing where when you’re married to someone, you’re constantly learning and changing and evolving.” Despite the new title, Krasinski joked that his family life wouldn’t change much, saying, “I think it's going to make me do more household chores.
