Apparently Wisconsinites aren't the most attractive US residents, and frankly--I'm shocked. Zippia did a study where they looked into a handful of categories to determine how attractive a state was: 1. interest in hair, clothes and grooming; 2. obesity rates; 3. percent of residents who are physically active; 4. average income; and 5. STD rates.
While their categories certainly have some serious issues (hair and weight? STD rates?), their overall ranking for Wisconsin was #33. I'd personally put us higher, but then again I'm biased.
Their top ten was as follows:
- New Jersey
- Hawaii
- California
- Massachusetts
- New York
- Colorado
- Connecticut
- Rhode Island
- Alaska
- Arizona
What do you think? I was pretty surprised to see New Jersey at #1 and Alaska in the top ten, so they must have some pretty insane STD rates...
