Jamie Lynn Spears took to social media to share a message of support from her 3-year-old daughter while she was having an emotional moment.
On Saturday (August 7), Spears took to Instagram Story to share audio of her crying with Ivy comforting her. "It'll be OK. It has to be OK, mom," the toddler is heard saying in the post, before the actress responds, "Thank you, baby." No word on what prompted the Spears sibling’s post but it arrived amid major tension stemming from older sister Britney’s 13-year conservatorship case. Fans have criticized the younger Spears sibling for not being more instrumental in pushing back on the legal arrangement.
In July, Britney slammed Jamie Lynn in a lengthy social media post about her "so-called support system." "I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!!” the pop titan wrote in reference to the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards. "This conservatorship killed my dreams … so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill … yet people still try !!! … People try to kill hope because hope is one of the most vulnerable and fragile things there is."
To caption a series of photos of her in a red suit, Jamie Lynn seemingly responded, writing "May the peace of the Lord be with you, and your spirit." In a follow-up Britney post, the entertainer shaded Jamie Lynn, sharing a caption in the vein of her sister's response. "May the Lord wrap your mean ass up in joy today .... PS RED," she wrote alongside a video of her dancing in her home.
