My wife Michaela is really going to enjoy this one, as she "claims" that I disappear for long periods of time when I go to the bathroom. According to a new study done by OnePoll, more than HALF of American adults (51%) go to the bathroom to be alone rather than just needing to go.
Listen, I've got a three-year-old and a one-year-old...any quiet time is rare and cherished at our house...but I swear I really need to go when I go. By the way, the same study found that when looking at parents with kids living at home, that number goes up to 62%.
I'll say this, I always have to go when I go...there may be a rare occasion in which I linger a little longer than needed! I do sometimes get caught when I come out of the bathroom and Michaela is mad at me because she's seen that I've "like" something on her social media feed.
