My friends over at Pinnacle Health + Fitness are doing Burpees for Bucks, raising funds for the Madison Area Sports Commission Youth Grant program. It's a great cause that supports our own community AND for every dollar donated, the team at Pinnacle will do one burpee. That means if you donate $50, they'll do 50 burpees. There's 20 team members participating in total, so we need to make sure they all get their share. Even if you only have a few spare bucks, go ahead and donate! It ends on March 13, so please act fast.
You can donate at the link here. Here's a step-by-step:
- Hit the register button and scroll down to the "Pinnacle Health + Fitness" section.
- Type in the amount you want to donate, then hit checkout.
- In checkout, type in your info and, if you want, add a note to make a specific trainer do all the burpees.
Now, if I may make a case:
My trainer over at Pinnacle Health + Fitness is named Patryk. He's a decent dude, and if you're looking for a trainer, I'd recommend booking a complimentary first session with him to see what he can offer to your fitness journey. With that being said, I know he can do a lot of burpees and I want to make this difficult for him. That's why I'm encouraging everyone who donates to put a note in the checkout to allocate your entire donation towards making Patryk alone do the burpees. Just add his name into the comments. He claims he can do 1000 of them, but I'm not so sure, so let's find out.
It's my payback for all those push-ups he makes me do. I'd really appreciate it besties!
(Seriously, if you're looking for a trainer or nutrition coach, Patryk knows his stuff. Not a lot of trainers have the knowledge base or continual dedication to education that he does.)
Ultimately, this fundraiser is about supporting our community and keeping kids in the sports that they love. It's very important to me that we give back to the world and make sure we're taking care of each other, so give if you can!
