Justin Bieber Hops On Remix Of Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy'

Much like we expected, superfan Billie Eilish nabbed Justin Bieber for a remix of the pop star's mega-smash, "bad guy," and the new mix dropped on Thursday afternoon (July 11).

In a similar fashion as the original, the 17-year-old kicks off the track with a few Bieber runs in the intro, before the chart-topper hops onto the second verse with additional trinkles of production added to the FINNEAS-produced back beat. "Yeah, Iā€™m a bad guy/ Ain't no holdinā€™ back guy/ Come off like a mad guy/ Always got your back guy/ Yeah Iā€™m the real type/ Keep you full of thrills type/ Show you what it feels like/ Got an open invite," he sings during the verse. In conjunction with the release, Eilish shared a photo of her a few years younger and surrounded by posters of Bieber. "BAD GUY FEAT. JUSTIN BIEBER OUT NOWWW OMGFFFFGGG ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE MAN," she captioned the shot on Instagram.

Prior to the release, Eilish teased the team-up when she took to her Instagram Stories to address rumors that she's working on her sophomore record. ā€œThe new album s**t is fake," she wrote in a post. "buuuuuuuut I might have soooomething for youā€¦"

Beyond the Eilish's fandom, the new remix is a tactical one to push the track, which has spent several weeks at the No. 2 spot on Billboard's Hot 100, past Lil Nas X's own remix of "Old Town Road" with Billy Ray Cyrus. If the latter spends one more week at the top of the chart, it'll become the only to stay atop the chart for 16 weeks, beating the previous record holders: Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men "One Sweet Day," and Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's Justin Bieber-assisted "Despacito"
