It wasn't Cardi B. After a transphobic meme was posted to her Facebook page on Sunday (September 16), the "I Like It" rapper took to Twitter to clear her name.

"It's come to my attention that there have been offensive posts made on what used to be my Facebook page," she wrote hours after the meme was shared. "For the past year and a half a FORMER team member has been the only one with access to the account."

The offensive meme featured an illustration of a man looking out a window with the words, “I hope nobody see this tr***y leave my house." While the post has since been deleted, the hashtag #CardiBIsOverParty began trending on Twitter.

Amidst the backlash, Cardi later thanked her family, friends, and fans for their support on her Instagram Story.  "I want to thank my family, friends and hubby. You guys always uplifting me and giving me strength with ya words and loyalty," she wrote. "I want to thank Bardi Gang! I don't even know how some of ya look or nothing about ya and ya hold me down like we went to school together. I feel like I grew up with some of ya, I love yaaaa forever."

It's been quite the drama-filled month for the Bronx rapper. Last weekend, Cardi attacked Nicki at the Harper's Bazaar ICONS Fashion Week party. The new mom was caught on camera throwing a shoe at Nicki, while being held by security. She was then photographed being escorted out of the event with a knot on her forehead.

Cardi later explained her actions in an Instagram post, claiming the brawl broke out because Nicki badmouthed her two-month-old daughter Kulture, "liked [bad] comments about [her] as a mother, [and made] comments about [her] [ability] to take care of [her] daughter."

While Nicki blasted Cardi days after the attack — claiming Cardi has said both racist and sexist comments in the past and slept with DJs to get her music played — Cardi seems to be moving forward, focusing on her music.  As previously reported, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper is set to release new tracks (yes, more than one) this week, according to Page Six
