Efforts to support MAW Wisconsin:
Chi Omega has been a huge support for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. In the late 1990s, the leadership in Chi Omega researched opportunities for establishing a national philanthropy, and in 2002, they announced the Chi Omega/Make-A-Wish alliance. In 2018, UW Chi Omega has raised over $35,000 and sponsored 5 wishes for children. One of their signature events is Walk It Out for Wishes where wish kids and Chi Omega Members put on a fashion show and hold a silent auction event to raise money for Make-A-Wish.
