The internet blew-up after pictures of Shona Carter-Brooks' wedding went viral.
And no, it wasn't because she had a super cute flash-mob. People are outraged that the newlywed attached her one-month-old daughter, Aubrey, to the train of her gown and essentially dragged her down the aisle.
Shona and her husband Johnathan Brooks are defending their controversial decision saying:
"The answer is we do what we want, when we want, as long as Jesus [is] on our side everything worked out fine and gona [sic] continue to be fine" and that the infant was "awake and well secured on my train."
The ceremony's wedding coordinator, Kaye Jordan, said that their choice had significant historical value.
"It indicates the dedication of her mother (and father) toward caring for her child and family... A GOOD mother takes her child wherever she goes, even down the aisle."
Even if that's the case, many people were disturbed by the couple's choice and think they should be reported to authorities/child services.
Thankfully, it has been reported that, the infant was not hurt.
