MILWAUKEE (AP) _ An attorney for a Wisconsin girl accused of plotting to kill a friend to curry favor with a fictional online character says he is concerned about her mental health.

He also says he will repeat his request for the court to move her from juvenile detention to a mental health facility.

Anthony Cotton represents one of two 12-year-old girls charged in a stabbing that nearly killed another child.

Cotton said Tuesday that he would meet with his client later in the day, but based on what he knows thus far, he believes she has serious mental health problems and should be in a hospital.

He says a judge rejected his request to move the girl Monday, but he will ask again when she returns to court next week.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ An administrator of a horror website says in an online posting that the stories published on the site are fiction and the site does not endorse the actions of two Wisconsin girls accused of trying to kill one of their classmates.

The site called Creepypasta Wiki contains stories posted by users, including one about Slenderman, a fictional character who stalks children.

According to a court documents, two 12-year-old Waukesha girls charged with stabbing and nearly killing a friend told police that they did it to curry favor with Slenderman.

A site administrator says in a Tuesday post that Creepypasta Wiki does not ``does not endorse or advocate for the killing, worship, and otherwise replication of rituals of fictional works.''

Attempts to reach site operators by phone and email were unsuccessful.

UPDATED Tuesday, June 3, 2014--

The 12 year old girls arrested in the stabbing attack on their friend are currently charged in adult court.  Morgan E. Geyser and Anissa E. Weier face a potential 65 years in prison if they remain in adult court.

Defense attorneys could attempt to "reverse waive" them into juvenile court. Waukesha County's DA Brad Schimel, a republican candidate for state attorney general, says he would resist such an attempt.  If moved into juvenile court, the girls could only be held up to the age of 25.

While juvenile suspects typically aren't named by the media, in this case the girls have been charged in adult court.  The severity of the crime also is a factor for the release of their names by 1310 WIBA.

UPDATED Monday, June 2, 2014 ---

WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) -- Prosecutors say two 12-year-old southeastern Wisconsin girls stabbed their 12-year-old friend nearly to death to please a fictional character they learned about online.

Both girls were charged with first-degree attempted homicide Monday in Waukesha County Circuit Court. A court commissioner set bail at $500,000 cash per girl.

The criminal complaint says that one of the girls told a detective they had to kill someone to become proxies of a character called Slender Man they learned about on a horror-story website. The complaint says the girls started planning to kill their friend as early as December.

The three girls had a slumber party Friday. The two stabbed their friend 19 times in a wooded park Saturday.

The girl managed to crawl away and was found by a bicyclist. She is hospitalized.

WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) _ Waukesha police say two 12-year-old girls lured a friend into a wooded area where one girl held her down and the other stabbed the victim 19 times.

The victim, also 12, survived the attack and police say her condition is stable.

Authorities say the two suspects had planned to kill the victim for several months before attacking her Saturday. Police say both suspects had an interest in a website containing stories of death and horror.

The victim was stabbed in the torso, legs and arms, but was able to crawl out of the woods to a road where she was discovered by a passing bicyclist. Authorities say the suspects were arrested several hours later. A knife believed to have been used in the stabbing has been recovered. The two suspects are expected in court Monday afternoon.
